this pub rules... it comes across as often a rough pub but nreally it aint u can go in there on re own n make so many mates within a hour... i have so many friends there staff are brilliant and i not just sayin that cus my dad works there get to know them they are a good laugh... everybody is so friendly there.. big family really... i always know i be looked after in there dont judge it on one vist come a few times ya love it plus it cheap ya cant complain :D

one quickly for Basil, if the licensee is a complete muppett and his staff his supporting staff then why complain at least your guaranteed a great show most of the time.

After being with the pub for a few years now i think most of your reviews are wrong how can you place a review on 1 off visits, if you come in on a regular basis you will see that the pub is actually a friendly welcoming place to come to where you can meet people, socialise and get to know people without all the unpleasantries. I can't say we don't have trouble at the pub because occasionally there is the odd problem but compared to some of the pubs we actually have one of the lowest rates of trouble in town. The quality of the beer is great as the pipes are cleaned on a regular basis so a bad pint is a rare thing also the pricing is good and compares well to some of the pubs around town in the end all i can say is don't judge us by one visit the people are great and the atmosphere is on a high most the time.

nice place to go to staff are nice and polite been there a couple of times entertainment good and fun :) very thankful to those person who introduced me there coz i enjoyed it everytime i go there

sorry i think you all wrong and stuck up i like the pub its full off good people.
staff are friendly give or take a couple the licencee's are very welcoming the bands are ex the karaoke is fun all in all the pub is a nice place to go and i would recomend it to other people love you all xxxx
