We regularly eat at the Red Lion during the week and the food is good quality pub grub and reasonably priced. As for Cody the dog, they never let him out in the bar area when people are eating. The bar and waitressing staff are all extremely friendly.

This is a pub - not a restaurant. I don't know what the person below was expecting, but the menu is perfectly suitable and diverse, with many home-made and flavoursome dishes. Just because the prices are good value for money there is no compromise to taste. I found the bar and serving girls to be well presented and friendly, and although I have seen the dog, it was behind the bar, and certainly not near anyone eating. I think this pub offers a nice place to take your family for a meal, or to go for a quiet drink in the evening and I would recommend it.

Not too bad, food could do with being more up-market. Enjoyed meal, but put off by rather large dog roaming round and being a nuisance later in the evening. My husband particularly enjoyed the serving girls belly and bum on show! I think that it could have been covered by a clean apron
