Nine performers merge contemporary dance, physical theatre and everyday objects to transform the stage into shifting architectural landscapes. Constructions of Thin Air unfolds in two acts: the first asks questions about the notion of belonging to systems, whether political, economic, or social; the second provokes thoughts on the notion of home, family and identity. Tilted Productions creates playful and challenging cross-art form collaborations that reimagine the familiar and open up fresh, poetic perspectives on the world we live in. Created by Tilteds Artistic Director Maresa von Stockert in collaboration with an intergenerational cast, this new work for the stage evolved from the companys acclaimed outdoor promenade piece BELONGING(s).

Funded by Arts Council England and Ipswich Borough Council. The creation process was supported by 101 - Outdoor Arts Creation Space, Newbury, and DanceEast, Ipswich.

Duration: 80 minutes, including interval.
