A collection of toys, costume and decorative arts from the 18th-20thC, displayed in an elegant Georgian townhouse, built in 1718. Exploring home life in Colchester over the last 300 years. Lots of hands-on activities and interactive displays, with wheelchair access to all public areas.

Remember When...? Holidays, 26th June 2012, 14:00 to 15:30
Look back over days gone by and reminisce about your favourite memories at Hollytrees Museum, Colchester whilst handling objects from our Memory Box collection.
“We’re all going on a summer holiday…” This session looks back at favourite summer activities such as building sandcastles on the beach, camping in the Lake District or jetting off on a package tour. With our “Holidays” Memory Box as inspiration, share your stories of holiday camps, picnics and collecting sea-shells.
This event is suitable for people with a visual impairment.
Sessions at 3pm to 4.30pm, with tea and coffee served throughout.
£2.50 per session (£2 for Friends of the Museum)
